Here is the first recorded correct usage of the word by gushi.

G: Mama, E wears a paci. (E is an almost 3 year old friend of his)
Me: that’s right, G.
G: Can i have a paci, someday mama?
Me: G, sometimes E is still a baby, that’s when he needs his paci. But big boys and little boys dont need pacis.

G: I told E that he was a baby.
Me: You did, what did he say?
G: He said he was not a baby.
Me: And then?
G: I told him again that he was a baby because he needed his paci.
G: And E agreed.

Agreed, indeed!
